My wife and I have been going to Dr. Lucente for over 5 years now... He is New York City's best kept secret. Apart from being a kind and wonderful human being, he is also a very gifted dentist. He assisted me when a dentist botched a filing for me during a vacation oversees. He explained to me what they had done wrong. Without judgement he made the necessary corrections, and I have never had any other issues with my tooth since. We have always found his staff to be very kind and extremely professional (they feel like family to us). A special shout out goes out to Alma who often assists with the cleanings... She is the best!!!

Great service. Never having had a dentist in NY since I moved from the UK, very impressed with the personal service. Saw me on short notice after tooth broke, De Lucente did a great job of repairing the tooth and setting me up for a new crown. Easy to talk to, professional, and not a hint of pain throughout the procedure.

Truly as good as it gets. Dr. Lucente and his staff have created an incredible environment, especially for those of us who aren't the biggest fans of seeing the dentist. The office is homey and friendly, and the quality of work is outstanding. He and his staff really love their work.
I've had to change dentists several times over the last few years because of insurance changes - all while I've needed various procedures - but I feel extraordinarily lucky to have found Dr. Lucente. If you're looking for a dentist and he's one of your options, look no further!

Dr. Lucente and staff are AMAZING, I cannot say enough good things about them. I chipped my tooth and he took care of me the next morning (working around his already booked appointments in order to fit me in)! He also did some cosmetic adjustments while I was in the chair, and I am much happier with my teeth appearance. I recommend everyone to see Dr. Lucente- he takes his time, is professional, and is a perfectionist!

Had a great experience. The receptionist was very helpful and the hygienist was just as helpful
And caring. The dentist was amazing. He went out of his way to make sure all my questions were answered and was able to find me great referral for more work that needs to be done. All on a terrible insurance through my union. I found my new dentist so I'm happy

The best dentist experience I've had! I have a really tight schedule so I was only available at a specific time, but the receptionist squeezed me in. So you can imagine I was nervous about the wait. However they were ready for me when I showed up. The xrays were quick. Then the dentist was so efficient! I had absolutely no pain and he fixed my tooth really quickly. Then I had a teeth cleaning by the dental hygienist and I was out the door within an hour and a half. Anywhere else I would have had to return later to see the dentist after the xrays and the teeth cleaning would have been scheduled another day or I would have been in the waiting room another hour until she was freed up.

I love this dental office! Everyone from the receptionist, hygienist, to the doc himself are so kind and knowledgeable. I don't have the best insurance but his office consistently treat me like an A-lister. Being in NYC where money particularly rules the world, I don't have enough words to say. I live in Astoria so his office is a little far for me, on an appt where I run late the receptionists are still so understanding. Dr. Lucente is very thorough and remembers all the notes from my last appt (no small feat for any medical professional even if they take the best notes).
Their office is clean and cute, and I've had painless fillings and cleanings here. Highly recommended!
