House Call Dentists specialize in special needs dentistry, concierge dentistry, and emergency dentistry. For individuals who have physical, medical or cognitive challenges that make it difficult to travel to the dentist, we provide house calls. We are committed to removing all barriers to receiving dental care, regardless of age or infirmity. If someone has difficulty traveling to a dentist, our team will bring the care directly to them. House calls can also be for those who wish to have high quality healthcare in the privacy and comfort of their own home, office or hotel. By having our dental team come to you, we are making dental care more convenient and comfortable. Lastly, if you have a dental emergency and wish to be treated right away, we are available 24 hours, 7 days a week. If a patient prefers to see the dentist in our office, we also offer that option.

History
Established in 1980.

The business was originally started in San Francisco over 30 years ago by Dr. David Blende, a graduate of University of Southern California Dental School. He eventually established the Blende Dental Group. Both the San Francisco and New York office have established clinical offices, but our unique service is house call dentistry. Between New York and San Francisco our team has made 1500 house calls. In New York, our lead dentist is Dr. Gary Nord who is a board certified prosthodontist. Dr. Gary Nord received his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree cum laude from the Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine in 2010. He then went on to complete a two year General Practice Residency where he served as chief resident of the department in his second year, overseeing the first year residents and treating a wide variety of complex cases under general anesthesia and IV sedation. Dr. Nord then furthered his training in the specialty of Prosthodontics and Implant Dentistry.
