History
Established in 2016.

Dr. John J. Matthes strives to deliver patient-centric care. His motto, "Anyone who comes through our doors is treated as Family!"​​Dr. Matthes lives to serve his patients with the highest quality of care by offering them a variety of options to meet their dental needs. He received his Bachelors degree from Purdue University. Then left Indiana to attend a pre-medical/pre-dental post-baccalaureate at the University of Pennsylvania. There, he concentrated on Organic & Cell Biology while also performing research at a local hospital. He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery from New York University College of Dentistry with honors. In addition, he also served as President of his dental class as well as NYU Student Body President. Upon graduation he performed a residency program at New York Hospital-Queens and took the initiative of leading the community outreach.

I was born into a large family of six boys and six girls, including myself. This environment had a large impact on my decision to serve others. I chose dentistry because it allows me to continue serving others and I love to see people smile!

Why am I different?

    I care!!  My family background, participation in sports teams, and community activities constantly keep me aware how my actions affect other people.   I am deeply committed to charitable and humanitarian service.  I performed voluntary dentistry in several underserved indigenous communities in both Yakutat, Alaska & Manta, Ecuador.  My passion is to make others proud of their smiles!
