Soon after starting his own practice, he performed over 500 hours of post-graduate continuing education to obtain his Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry (FAGD) in 1990. In 2010 he completed additional 1,000 hours to earn his mastership, which less than 2% of dentists have achieved. He is currently an attending doctor on staff and part-time clinical instructor at the Monmouth Medical Center where he teaches advanced dental techniques and sedation to recently dentist graduates.
Dr Friedman is one of only a few general dentists in New Jersey to be certified to perform IV sedation in his office. This gives patients the opportunity to have all phases of dental care performed in a single location while comfortably and safely sedated.
