Dr Irene is amazing!!! I called for an emergency when my filling fell out, she managed to squeeze me in the same day and fixed me right up.
She makes you feel comfortable right away, I was able to relax right into her dental chair. (Who relaxes at the dentist????) She has a good hand for her numbing shots and my filling was painless and very quick. I've had her replace all of the fillings on my lower bite!! My smile is white and bright, I am so happy I found her, and my new dentist

I had my first visit with Dr Petrakis today for a general exam and cleaning. I was a bit nervous as it had been 3 years since my last dental visit. Dr. Petrakis is warm, personable, knowledgeable and I appreciated her minimalist approach to dentistry. I once had a new dentist recommend $3000 worth of preventative work despite me not having any problems with my teeth! The office was recently renovated and is beautiful. I have finally found a dentist I look forward to going back to with affordable pricing. Thank you Dr Petrakis and your friendly staff.

A comfortable and caring environment. I've been getting my teeth done by my Theia, Dr. Irene Petrakis, since I was a little girl. I got the Invisalign, which not only straightened my teeth, but cleared up my gum disease. I still wear the Invisalign at night so my teeth don't shift.

After a few days of pain I finally decided I needed to go to the dentist. There are a lot in this area, but some of the negative reviews scared me off. As of this point, Dr Petrakis only has amazing reviews (and I expect that to remain the same) so I decided to give her a chance. I called when they opened and they were able to see me right away. Everyone in the office is incredibly friendly.

After looking at my X-ray, Dr Petrakis saw my filling was the issue, but thought she would have to do a root canal too. The only problem, I was going on vacation the next day.

I truly believe a lesser dentist would have insisted on doing a root canal right away. Doctor Petrakis gave me some advice on managing the pain and scheduled an appointment for the morning after I returned.

Long story slightly shorter, she only needed to replace the filling. She did a great job of explaining to me that she wouldn't have known if a root canal was needed until after starting the procedure. I couldn't have been more appreciative of her honesty and ethics. She cares about her patients and it shows. Thanks to everyone in the office for all their hard work!

....now go make an appointment!

Dr. Irene is awesome. She is very knowledgeable. She is an excellent Dentist. She takes her time to listen to patients and diagnosed the tooth issue accordingly. I am so blessed to find such a knowledgeable and caring Dentist. Thank you Doctor Irene , you have a patient for life.

She's not just our dentist but also our friend. We went to a wonderful party for New Years that I will never forget with her. I can talk and laugh with her for hours!

She had rescued my daughters tooth and mine. I thanked God literately for not needing a ROOT CANAL. She is the "go to lady" for dentistry here in Astoria and surrounding areas!

P.s the staff is amazing and I am friends with them too.
